so my airbag light came on after i did the led switch for my gauge clusters and was curious if that had anything to do with it? and if so is it just a loose connection of somekind? any feedback is appreciated thanks.

Probably a loose connection like you suggested, i doubt that the led bulbs themselves would cause that problem, maybe there's a connector back there you missed?

Or bad ground somewhere.

Not really sure what all would set off the warning light, but it may be a good idea to figure it out

not on our airbag. our airbag was on recall a few years back. my friend had a 91 turbo and when he crash the car. he was ok. but, the airbag blew up on his face and that was what mess him up really bad. so bad he could not see with both of his eyes. our airbag will not stop until it blow up like a bomb. trust me on this. i took the fuse off for the airbag. and so did most of the mr2 owner here in texas due to it.

The recall is for the steering wheel, not the air bag. They replace the steering wheel but still use the same air bag.

The air bag light will come on if you turn the key to the ON position and a harness wasn't plugged in (like to test the lights).
