Right. I could definitly figure it out given enough time... I am just trying fast-track a solution as well as avoid a mistake. I suppose the right thing to do is pull out a circuit test light and start probing the wires to find the one that is on/off with the dome light.

Lol, mebbe. But they also make some of the more resilient (in my experience) "important" electronic components, ie engine electrical stuff. My domelight doesn't say Denso on it. My alternator does, but it works great, and it has a giant crack in the casing, lol. About the only engine parts still working on my old Eclipse are the Denso ones. :/
And I think 2s need an additional light in the back of the passenger compartment, at least. Map lights along the t-bar? I thought it's be cool to wire some into the t-top roof panel trim, but that strikes me as a very interesting electrical problem . . . |

The sunroof outline is blue. The back window outline is light green. In case you are wondering, it does prevent removal of the sunroof. But as my frunk has a custom liner its not as convenient to store there either.... I crack the sunroof, but dont care about ever taking it out anyway. So the person that wired them wired them so they were on all the time with the headlights when I got the car. It was a little much for me but I liked the lights enough to want to keep them. The car had old wiring from an alarm system and when I gutted it, I used the little silver rocker switch and re-wired those neon rope lights to it so I could manually turn off an on. I would prefer to wire them up so I can always manually over-ride them on with the switch, but I really want them to wire up with the footwell lights I am going to add on with the dome light circuit, so when they are switched on, they come on with the door/on/off functionality. They put a nice glow in the cabin at night when I need a little more light. If you look real close in this picture, you can see the rope light around the rear window...but you cannot make out the rope light around the sunroof... its there though. I will try to capture a picture with them lit up too.... edit... added. That's an interesting idea . . . I'm looking for better illumination when I'm reading a map or searching for sh** in my car, lol. Mebbe some bright white ones, wired through the domelight . . .
