sunroof shades?

just curious. it appears on my stock sunroof that there is brackets for a shade to go on it. was this ever an option?
if so where the heck do i find one? or would i be better off making one?

yes they are for the sunroof shades. Good luck finding one, they are rare to find. Reason: many previous owners lost them, riped them, or water damged them.
What my bro. did was got some colored carbord cut out the shape of the sunroof and just stuck in there. Cheap way to fix.

They're out there though. You could go slightly more high-class and get some thin plastic to cut to that shape. You could even cover it with headliner cloth. Someone nearby should be able to supply those materials . . .

guess ill wing it and make one, i do upholstery so it should be nothing to make it work, if i can get it to fit good would there be any demand for these?
i can cover them in ANY color you can think of, and just about any material.
