I have a Gen 3 with an after market intake, downpipe, B-pipe, muffler, walbaro fuel pump, and cam gears. How might i go about tuning my car with all of this? Im not even sure how "one" tunes a car....... If i took it to a shop, what would they do to tune it? I dont have $1000 for a new ecu..or chipped one..or any of that. Would a simple SAFC do the job? Will my car be ok without a tune? HAHA thx.

Hello,
Well with all that it looks like your pritty much fine....until you start adding a larger turbo and injectors will you need fuel control. Do you have cams for the engine? |

Go to the shop and have them do some baseline dyno pulls with a wideband while listening for knock. If you have a sufficiently rich mixture and not knock, you should be okay.
This service should cost between 50 and 100. It's completely worth it to give you piece of mind! |

Thing is there is not much to "tune" here...what Enthalpy suggested is a good start!

Weasy is right. The main reason for the checkout that I recommended is to make sure your 10+ year old components are up for the task.
