Max H2O levels for water injection

Has anyone ever figured out how much water you could inject in water injection before it starts costing you more power than the extra boost you could run gains you?

The best mixutre i always hear and try to achive is 20% of fuel flow...that is what aquamist also uses on their auto system.

I have seen as high as 25%, but there were also misfire issues at lower boost. Go with Weasy's advice. It's good advice.

FYI - Water injection won't net you more power unless you are already in a state of detonation. To fully take advantage of the water, you need to be able to advance your timing on-boost, only while spraying. This is best achieved with an EMS.

Without it, don't expect huge gains, but you can expect the other benefits (less carbon in the chamber and lower probability for detonation).
