Well, heres the story, i'm 20 years old. It was my father who bought it brand new back in 1990. I have been inside the car for every mile it has passed since he bought the car. He passed away in Jan. 2000 from lung cancer and i inherited it at the age of 13. It was my first car and i plan to keep it til i die.

The car is not stock, it has Eibach Sportlines and koni inserts for the suspension. The engine is going to be built by me this winter and the goal is 600whp on either a T63E or GT35R turbo.

It is EXTREMELY rare car as it is the ONLY MR2 Turbo that i know of that came turbo stock with hardtop, and this is the kicker, not a SINGLE thing is power inside of it. manual windows/doors/locks which i believe helped the car get its extreme light weight of 2620 with a full gas tank.

sorry to hear about the loss of your father. thats awesome what you are doing though, good luck and keep us posted on the progress. i wouldnt ever sell that car either.

interesting. i also have a 91 turbo hardtop, no power anything. sorry to hear about your dad. my dad died in 2000 too, in april.

I had a 91 hardtop with no options also. It sold in 4 hours and I had 3 people offering more $$$ for it. Yours will sell fast with so few miles.

mine wont be for sale... unless its a straight trade for a supra TT as that was the one car my dad and i wanted to build together, so it would be the only car i'd let the MR2 go for

they are rare.. dont let it fool you . .compact racer did an article on a mr2 that stated that turbo no power hardtops are rare in any years. yes they are out there but fewer then the normal mr2s.. 2.2 na ttops turbo ttops and power everything....

If someone brings me cash, I will sell her I think, I could rlly use the money. I am not actively persuing a sale though, you wont be seeing her on autotrader for a bit :-p.
