1994 VIN research
ok so following in ncturnal's footsteps, im wanting to try and get a registery of the 94's. i know there not as rare as the 95's but i still would like to try and find as many of them as possible so if you got one, take a couple min and throw it up.

Where did you obtain that VIN list from? I have concluded from my research using the Toyota EPC that the the last 93 is non-turbo VIN is JT2SW21N5P0021314 and the first non-turbo VIN in 94 is JT2SW21N5R0021316. For some reason there is no data available for either a 93 or a 94 ending in 21315 in the EPC.
Here are the only possible valid VINs for that sequence: 93 JT2SW21N7P0021315 - TT JT2SW21M8P0021315 - HT/SR 94 JT2SW21N3R0021315 - TT JT2SW21M4R0021315 - HT/SR I trust the EPC to be correct for 21314 and 21316. That said, assuming 21315 is not a 94, there are 349 NA models in 94. Judging from the 95s being even at 200, you'd think Toyota would round off the 94s at 350 but I'm still trying to obtain solid proof of such.

I don't see where this list is specifically directed at 94 NAs, but it seems that the list is all NA. Am I missing where this is just the NA registry? I thought most of the 94 and 95 MR2s were Turbos? |

There were twice as many NAs as there were turbo models in 94-95 (likely true for all years of production). The reason the list consists mostly of NA is because the VINs are in sequence so it's fairly easy to determine the first and last VINs for a particular model year for the NAs. The turbo VINs are mixed in with worldwide MR2 production for all 3S powered models (GE and GTE) so there are huge gaps in the sequence. Those will take a long time to decipher so we are posting them as we find them.
