Turbo or not? By looking at the vin

Can someone tell me if you can tell if the car is a turbo or not by the vin? Thanks.

The 7th number denotes a NA or Turbo. A 1 for NA and a 2 for Turbo.

out of curiousity, how can you not know if its a turbo? assuming everything is stock, there is a pretty big dif in sound from any engine i heard that is turbo... maybe its just me.

Traintech, Maybe they didn't actually see or hear the car, but they have the VIN and wanted to verify. But yes, i agree with you.
