I can't really say the stock MR2 rims ever do it any justice. But otherwise your car looks fantastic.

Nice car, I like the shift knob and the interior looks amazing. I've seen some clean NAs but don't think I've seen such a clean turbo before.

Yozuki, I agree with you about the MR2 rims, they're nothing special. But there's just something about them that makes the MR2 a real classic. You can put a variety of rims on a mR2, some look goofy as heck, but I think I have to keep them on and keep this one looking original. Thanks for all the comments people.

I am looking for a couple things if anyone has parts to sell:

- Black t-top shades
- T-top storage bags
- A new(er) shift boot
- The engine lid rod holder. That little piece of plastic to hold the rod against the lid.

Thanks everyone.

You can buy the engine lid rod holder from Toyota. When I bought mine it only cost like $2.86 I think. And it's much better than a used one which has already gotten brittle from the heat.

Nice! I've seen that car MANY times around town...didn't know it was for sale though. One MR2 gone from town, but another brought in! I just bought a '93 NA on 10/31...

Great car man!

boostdmr2, I talked to my local Toyota dealership and you're right, they were able to get me the engine lid prop-rod clamp for $2.80. I also went with a new shift boot and t-top bags form Toyota. A little expensive, but I'm sure they will be nice. Thanks for the advice. I was shocked that Toyota still has this stuff available after 18 years.

I was so happy with the shift boot with bracket ($35), engine lid prop rod clamp ($2.80) and t-top bags ($43 each) that I ordered from my local Toyota dealership, I inquired about new sun visors ($135 pair) as well today. And wouldn't you know it...they are available too! It makes you wonder where are these parts have been stored for the last 18 years.

After spending a couple hundred dollars on these parts I will need to cool it for a while, but I wonder if Toyota still has the original MR2 steering wheels available.

If you're not in a rush to get the steering wheel, I'm going to be replacing my original '91 steering wheel in the next month or so. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it as it was put on about 3 years ago brand new. I just want something different. Let me know if you're interested and I'll try to get pictures.
