1993 Turbo T-Top - JT2SW22N6P0076465
Made on 10/92 and No. 525 (is this really the sequential numbering?if so, is this for NA and Turbos combined?).
History: It was original Super White (040) with black leather... with the first ower, Bernard of Dynamic Motorsports San Diego as a shop car. Built it and ran the 1/4 mile in 11.6~11.8 sec on upgraded turbo and nitrous sometime in 1994 to be crowned the fastest MR2 in Cali. Then it was later sold to a chinese girl who used it as a daily driver for 3 years. She put an Aeroware kit on it and painted it silver, the first time. I purchased it from her with 117K miles in 2001. The first build up came 2 months after buying it. Polished everything in the engine bay with Venolia pistons, Toysport Rods, Greddy TD06 and PE Exhaust, Blitz BOV and Dual SBC Boost and Timer max boost at 1.80 bar~26lbs, upgraded ecu, etc. Full Alpine Sound system (2 V12 amps, components, axials, Type R sub, glove box changer with Monitor and DVD). Recaro Trend race seats and a beautiful fresh coat of Platinum Silver (Lexus 97' SC Silver). Current: Awaiting new and final build up after blowing motor. Bent valve turned into blown up valve in a million pieces inside the head. New blue printed and balanced motor built with every quality piece of HKS and TRD parts possible. Its Never been fired up but ready for a chassis up project. Collecting every TRD, Blitz, Greddy piece until that day comes when the puzzle is complete and ready to be put together. Got tons already, need some more like TRD Clutch, SS brake lines, etc. This car deserves it, race blood from the day it was born. Just trying to return it to its glory. |

Shouldn't that be SW22?
As far as I can tell with the research I've done, the number on the door plate is not sequential. I can't find any logical use of that number. Nice car btw.

its definitely an SW20... this is my second one... the first one was a 91 crimson red SW20 that had 180K on it before i sold it, it was still pulling hard enough to beat S2000's... thanks for the compliment... it'll be one of the cleanest examples of an MR2 when i'm done with it this time around... i was hopin that was my number so at least i know... so how do you find out what xxxx out of 1742 (# of turbos made that year?)? Something i'm tryin to find out...
