GB: 1998 MR2 Speed Flaps

GROUP BUY HAS ENDED!

Presents the
MKII Speed Flaps

In 1998 and 1999, All MR2's only in Japan were complimented with these Speed Flaps. The idea of the speed flaps, is to divert the wind/air around the front wheels to stabalize the MR2 at higher speeds. These are installed on the front bumper, right in front of your front wheels.

Installed......

These are new, directly from Japan.

No Hardware is included

$80.00 Shipped anywhere in the United States
$85.00 Shipped anywhere in Canada
$95.00 Shipped everywhere else

Paypal address - Parts@themr2store.com

Please Include Address and MR2Board Nickname in Paypal Message

Group Buy will End June 16th

I use USPS Priority Shipping only, no exceptions.

No Refunds once shipped on Group Buy orders unless product was damaged in shipping and i receive the part back in the mail. These are a hard rubber, I seriously doubt, any damage will be done to these in shipping.

On the end date of the group buy, expect to see them in your mail box roughly 4 - 5 weeks later.

They are the original OEM Rubber Speed Flaps.

If you think my price is high, check ebay. 2 weeks ago, they were $200 dollars plus shipping, now they are $100 dollars, plus shipping which equals about $138 to $145.

So if you buy them on this board, you will save about $50 dollars.

They bolt to the OEM fender liners. If you still have them on your car, you can use the OEM front wheel air dams (a more proper term than "speed flap")

so what hardware do I need to buy to mount these? I have a rivet nut gun, but I'd rather not have to do the work twice if someone else has the knowledge. Thanks! I'll likely be ordering these shortly.

You will need 3 nuts, 3 washers, and 3 bolts for each side. You pick the size.

This will probably cost you $2 to $3 dollars at your local hardware store. These will bolt directly onto your inner Fender Liners.

Yes, these come directly from Toyota, New in package, with the Toyota Labels on it.

They don't come in a toyota box though, they come in a clear bag with a toyota sticker on it. I don't know what the sticker says since its in Japanese, but the part number is also on there.

price is a little high. but $200 on ebay? do they transform into laser shooting robots or something as well?

how big of a difference do they actually make?

I have the stock fender liners and I don't see holes to mount it. Granted it was a quick 5 second look, I didn't see the 3 holes . I'll nab a pic soon and post it up.
