This service is being offered for all MKI, MKII, and MKIII cars. We will consider other vehicles as well, the price may be lower or higher. Please contact us regarding cars other than MR2's. Kevin (black94t) used his own car as a test bed for this process to perfect the process before offering this as a service. From the results that I have seen, I can firmly say that the end result looks BETTER than brand new OEM lights.



Briefly, take a look directly in your tail lights. Can you see your reflection clearly? If you can't or the reflection is not crisp, then restoring your tail lights will work wonders on cosmetic appearance of your MR2.

What we are offering is a full process religiously followed as outlined in in the write up HERE. No different steps or different materials used. What you see in the thread is what you get. The process begins with 400 grit which will shave the small letters and part number off (MKII only). Then to 600g, 1000g, professionally masked and followed with a black plastic paint. Then the paint is wetsanded with 1000g, and finished with a professional clear coat.


Take a look at these before & after pictures. Notice how not only are the before pics not shiny and reflective, but the black trim is faded so much that the plastic underneath is visible. All of this will be repaired and refinished.

Cost for this service including shipping one way (back to customer). Lead time for this is approximately 10 business days from the moment we receive the lights in hand.
