GB: Racing Harness Bar

I've had several requests to source a racing harness bar for the MKII MR2. I finally got the first set in last week to test fit and make sure everthing lines up. The bar looks good, fits well, and is very solid. I think you guys will be fairly impressed.

The center storage box will not fit with the bar in place. Although the bar is removable so you can easily just use it on race days. it literally takes about 10 minutes to remove the bar.

can you 100% guarantee fitment?! because I have a 4 point harness and I need a harness bar; I bought a kenji bar a while back but it doesn't fit!!

Yes, that's why it took so long to get this GB up and going. I was waiting to find time to test fit everything. It fits, and it uses existing OEM mount points.

The bar is actually bolted to the b-pillar. Bolting it to the sliding mechanism would not be safe.

A small 1/2" cut in the rear facing side of the b-pillar trim is required to make room for the mounting bracket. Other than that, no other modifications are made to the car.

thats similar to how mine is setup. the guy cut out the plastic a little to weld on a mount for the bar
