Revision 6 products low rise + everything else - pre-order.

Revision 6 lights are OUT OF STOCK!
Everyone,
I am looking for pre-orders so I can place an order with Rogue next month.
I am shooting for an early mid-november order date so I can have everything by Christmas and those winter projects...

I can import/order anything Rogue offers.
Body parts, chargecoolers, tail lights, etc...

As always, I offer the low-rise kits.
Anyone that has these kits knows they are not a cheap plastic knock-off. They are steel and fit well.

There are basically 3 flavors:

Basic kit, comes with everything you need except lights.
You will need to source your own 90mm lights.
$575 including shipping and insurance.

H9 kit which uses the same quality Hella lights as before.
H9 high and low beams.
$800 including shipping and insurance.

HID kit which uses the same quality Hella lights as before.
This is a special order only item.
Hella HID's are not cheap but their preformance is amazing.
I have a full set of high and low Hella HID's on my car and the lighting is insane.

HID PICS

Please paypal red_firebird_78@yahoo.com, and specify which kit you want, make sure your mailing address and other information is correct.

A GOOD article on HID lighting: CLICK HERE

Basic pictures of the kit: CLICK HERE

HID FAQ/Sticky: CLICK HERE

Basic advantages of Hella lights:

In a nut shell in my opinion Hella makes some of the best lights around, the same technology that makes these lamps survive 140+ mph across the roughest terrain in the Baja 1000 and light up the night like the sun is the same that goes into the 90mm modules and all their products.

Details:
Free form: Uses 50,000 reflector points in the lens to focus and precisely direct the light, therefore the reflector is left alone to reflect the light and thus can be optimized as such. This results in a much more even spread pattern, almost no stray light (i.e. wasted). Hella Free Form lamps produce up to 3 times the illumination of ordinary lights.

Projector Lamps: An elliptical reflector directs the light into a focusing lens which then bundles it and projects it onto the road, while a shield positioned between the lens and reflector produces a very defined, and precise cutoff. This results in twice the light output with little scattering or loss. (Ideal for low beams).

Xenon High Intensity Discharge (HID): The ultimate in lighting, providing 2.5 times the intensity of halogen lights with only 35W consumed. The Xenon capsules are 70% brighter at a color close to natural sunlight (whiting/blue).
They also typically last 8 times longer than regular halogen bulbs.
The whole lamp is a designed system to achieve the best results.

Quality: All Hella lamps are manufactured in a defect free environment resulting in blemish free reflectors and lenses.
All lights are subject to 5 hours of simulated off-road driving, simulating the shock and abuses typically seen.
For 1 hour the lights are thermal cycled between -40F and +176F to stress temperature extremes.
For 1 hour the headlamps are sprayed with water at 58 PSI to simulate driving in torrential rain.

As before if you want to take BEFORE and AFTER pics of your car, especially the differences in performance lighting, I will host your 800x600 med to high quality .jpg on our website. Just make sure the size of the pics are under a few hundred Kb.

Low rise kits are based off of shipping a group of 10 kits. I need 10 orders to honor above pricing.

All prices are based off of individual shipping charges.
If I can combine it with your other orders I can usually save you a little.

Revision 6 center panel: $195.00
LINK

Revision 6 tail lights: $775.00
LINK

Revision 6 fan kit: $755.00
LINK

Revision 6 Chargecooler: $1990.00
Made by RadTec this kit is a bolt on A2W set-up and you retain your trunk.
It mounts in the typical side-mount location with a pump and heat exchanger that mounts to the front of the car. It's been ran at over 600 RWHP in the UK with no rise in intake temps.
Excellent choice for those that want to retain a 'stock' look and not cut their car, or for locations/classes that prohibit cutting the chassis.

All body parts are guaranteed an excellent fit.
I've imported several spoilers, splitters, etc... and have not had any fitment issues or complaints to date. They come primered and ready to paint.
This save the hassle and time and money having a body shop try and fit and fix poor fitting body parts.

Shipping on body parts are high, I highly recommend trying to package it with other items, the large and bulky boxes the body parts come in USUALLY has ample room for smaller items to save shipping.

I want to thank everyone for looking.
Revision 6 products are very high quality and you get what you pay for.

If people want to combine orders, maybe you and your fellow MR2 neighbor want to order together, I can try and recalculate shipping on a case by case basis.

Keep in mind that 90% of these parts are made to order, so rarely there is a delay.

I need full payment in advance before I can place any orders.
If you want a Revision 6 product that isn't listed I will be happy to check prices for you.

I accept paypal to: red_firebird_78@yahoo.com
Please please include board name in the notes and verify shipping address.
I prefer to ship to verified address only, and I can not ship to P.O. boxes.

I would like to place an order on/by November 15th.

Again thanks for looking and I appreciate your business.

Oh and I ask for those that I e-mailed to please post here too if possible.
It is easier for me to check these forums on a regular basis and answer everyones questions in 1 spot.

Thank you.

Yup, includes shipping, duties and insurance.
Let me know ASAP because I need to guage the number of orders to see if I can make this happen.

I can order anything individually, but the low rise kit price is per a group of 10.
That's the only hang up.

Yeah, Rogues stuff is all very nice. I've looked at their 'P' splitters and 'T' spoilers to name a few and they looked great. You pay a bit more but the stuff is excellent quality.

Now if only the exchange rate would improve...

Your first post listed the prices of 2 of the 3 kits, but not the HID kit. What is the price on that.

Also, do these come wired (both the regular H9 kits and the HID kits) so the high and low beam projectors light at once while high beams are on, or do the low beams shut off when high beams are on. I know some custom wiring with relays and diodes can make it so both light at once when high beams are on, but I was curious to know if it came this way or not.

Are both the high and low beams HID for that price in the HID kit, or is it HID low beam and H9 high beam?

Last, does the bare kit (no lights, source your own 90mm lights) come with everything the other kits come with mounting wise EXCEPT the lights? Meaning, do I have to by the 90mm lights and then devise my own way to mount them, or should any 90mm projector fit? I'd just look at it and see, but, well, I don't have a bare kit to look at, so I have to ask these thinks, hahaha.

Also, as far as shipping, I am in Portland. Are these going to your Salt Lake Location or the Portland Location? If they are coming to Portland, I don't need them shipped, I can pick them up if I decide to get some.

Thanks for answering my questions.

I haven't prced out the HID kit because there has never been any serious interest in Hella HID's. For a ballpark estimate you are looking at an additional $500'ish PER low beam and an additional $600'ish PER high beam, plus connectors, mounting brackets and a few other minor things. HID kit is special order only and is not a plug-play install (I hope to change that in the future but the car is 800 miles away atm so I can't prototype a relay pack). It's not hard but I can't offer support over the phone trying to walk you through on how to pin a connector...

As wired the H9 kits switch between the high and low beams, all 4 are not on unless you change the wiring. Toyota uses a combination of a switching and floating ground system to go between high and low beams. Makes it more complicated. Again I hope to have a plug-play relay kit for this but no ETA right now.

I can order whatever HID configuration you want for your off-road use only application.

The bare kit comes with everything needed to wire in and mount 90mm Hella lights. However I can't say if other 90mm lights will include everything or work.

The kits come to me in SLC. I actually have 1 H9 kit left in stock.
It might be the last one for a long while unless I get some more interest here.

Hope that helps.

It does help. What did you mean by the kits come to you in SLC? I'm curious (this may be a dumb question), is there a reason you chose H9 projectors over another bulb type projector? Again, just curious.

Also, it sounds like you may not get any H9 kits for awhile. Am I correct in guessing this GB isn't going so well? What kits would you get? None? Bare Kit? HID I suppose is always there due to the inflated price cuz it;s a special order.

If I'm not mistaken, couldn't I bypass the factory wires and wire up relays straight off the battery, and just use the OEM wires as the triggers, to tell the relay when to turn on? Then position a diode so when the high beams are lit, the power-ground flows back to the low beams and lights em up? I think that's how to do it, but I might be messed up, it's been a long time.

SLC = Salt Lake City.
H9 projector is what the Hella 90mm lights are, H9's.
I use Hella's only because that's what the kit was designed for and I personally feel that the Rev6 kit is the premium kit on the market and therefore should be paired with the premium in lights. Putting cheap lights in such an outstanding kit would be like.......building a $6000 stroker engine and then using the cheapest cast pistons you could find.

Nope, lots of interest and e-mails but no paypal. :/
I won't be ordering any more kits until interest improves, or the dollar drastically strengthens. It's just too much risk to float that much of my own money. When I do order kits I typically order them as complete H9 kits, they are by far the most popular and ordering them all at once at the same time saves money for everyone. The HID's aren't inflated because they are special order, that's just what Hella charges for them. They are a FREAKING nice light though and actually the high beam HID's are ECE spec and are technically not for USA hi-way use at all, they are off-road use only.

No.
(reciting from memory so don't shoot me if I have something backwards)
You have a common power wire for both high and low beams. When you turn on your lights the low beam ground circuit is closed; thus completing the circuit and lighting your lights. Your fog light circuit also triggers off the low beam circuit to turn on. The high beam side is left as a 'floating' ground, thus no complete circuit so they remain off.
When you switch to high beam the low beam circuit is pulled to 12volts which creates nowhere for the current to go so your lows turn off, this also deactivates the fog circuit. The high beam ground wire that was 'floating' is now pulled to ground thus completeing both the high beam circuit and your indicator circuit, thus they light up.

The floating ground system does weird things when you introduce relays into the system, at least with HID ballasts. The loading is different, and the relay wants to close all the time due to the floating ground on the high beam side. Which causes weird things to happen depending on how you have your relays hooked up. Sometimes they'd switch sometimes not, sometimes the fogs wouldn't work, sometimes one side would work and not the other.
Now we were trying to get all 4 lights on during high beam, so this added in some complexity, and we were trying to use as few parts as possible to make installation simpler but more reliable.
We ran out of time to try diodes (not my first choice) or using a different grounding scheme.

I hope this helps.

How many pre-orders have you taken so far? I'm interested, but am having to pay off some other mods before I can make a move.

None.
I've gotten a ton of 'interested' e-mails but no orders.

I was hoping for a large # or orders so I could consolidate some packages and save a few people some $$. Doesn't look like it's going to happen, sorry.

Prices are still valid, except for the low rise lights, they were based off of a 10-unit buy.
