Pre-order (TRI-Point Strut Tower Bars)

1990-1999 Toyota MR2
Front Tri-Point Strut Tower Bars

The design for these strut bars was influenced by the JDM Carbing bars. The difference is that our bar uses thicker more sturdier tube.

The strut tower bar is a fully welded, one-piece, solid construction. It is made 100% out of aluminum. This makes for an extremely solid and extremely light weight bar. It comes polished to a "buffed" finish for a long lasting polish that will not scratch. The bar bolts to the firewall and also to both strut towers making a full solid triangle. This is the best front strut tower bar available for the 1990-1999 Toyota MR2. These are 100% made in the USA with thick American metal, by a top of the line fabrication shop.

* Includes all mounting hardware

We are having this pre-order sale in order to recover some of the development costs. This sale is for a very limited time. The sale will end as soon as we receive the shipment. All pre-orders will be shipped out as soon as the shipment comes in. We are expecting them to arrive in approximately 6-14 days.

Regular price will be: $269.99
Limited time pre-order sale price: $175

Ohhhh.......You know I want one! Two questions?

Does this have that bar at the bottom like the Carbing has which only works on nonturbo's (as in 1st and 3rd pic).

Does it work with the sunroof latch for cars with sunroofs? There's a latch on the factory bar that holds the sunroof safely in the frunk.

Ours works with both turbo and NA cars. It does not have the silly useless MC brace on the bottom like some of the Carbing bars do. I looked into adding the MC brace, and the way they had it setup it just flexes way too much. It seems they have it there as more of an "ooooh, ahhhh" kind athing than a really functional piece.

I'm not familiar with the sunroof latch. The test car I have here is a turbo/ttop. So I don't have a sunroof car to test fit on here. So I can't confrm this.

Went to get some pics and looking at it again, I don't think it'll work. That front bar is going to be in the way of the sunroof. Here's some pic's for those that don't know what I'm taking about:

I'll have to get some more pics next week, it's dark now and not enough light in the garage.

Any plans to make a couple different ones for us sunroof guys.

Nope, you'll just have to store it in the garage, behind the seat, or in the trunk maybe?

Arghhhh.....
Don't wanna get caught in the rain with the top in the garage while I'm out. Ehh.... the sunroof is a little big to fit behind the seat. And I like the little trunk space that I have, not to mention that there's no mounts in the trunk to hold it still from sliding around in there.

Can somebody can tell me if the TRD strut bar works with the sunroof clip?
Then maybe I could use this one in the T-top instead.

I like my storage space though.
And future plans after my rebuild will not allow enough room for storage of the sunroof either.

Ok, so far 6 pre-orders. We have 20 in this first batch. So we'll be closing this pre-order sale either when we get 20 orders or when the shipment arrives.

Forgot to get pics today. I did remember to send you that email though. I guess that sunroof is gonna have to stay where it is from now on. No more open top. Somebody develop a mod for the sunroof so it slides back.
