I'm tempted to get the Carbon-Kevlar now, but I'll settle for the Carbon. Is the Carbon-Kevlar naturally yellow, or is it colored? Somebody buy my parts so I can get these in Kevlar.

Yes, $90 for those of use who got the gauge pod in carbon. I just checked the original post and that's what it said.

i can post pics of the carbon pure sec guage pod but i dont have the prototypes back from the fabricator on the shifter surround and the drivers vent surround. my green carbon kevlar should be done shortly as well so i will most definately post pictures of that. i'm actually returning tonight so i may take my camera and snap some shots of other pieces he's done in carbon kevlar.

These are pure carbon fiber replacement pieces! I will have pics uploaded as soon as I get the prototype back from the fabricator. Probably another week or so. However, after seeing the precision of the pure sex guage pod replication, I'm supremely confident the remaining pieces will be perfect!

yeah i saw that piece, i was interested in seeing a behind shot. did he form the whole piece from raw carbon and then glue/fuse on tabs for the clips? or did he make a plastic piece and then layer carbon on top with resin? it looked pretty good from the pic i saw. If it is wholey carbon fiber i might want one if he can make them without layering the resin on top so it is a matte dry carbon fiber look. i dont like shiny dash parts.

The pieces have precision cut strips of carbon on he back for the mounting points with the clips epoxied on the back. Is not real pretty from the back but its functional and in the front, its pretty hot!
