GB: MR2 Keychains

There was interest, so I decided to make it happen...

These are the Spazchicken keychains that have been available in the past, but not for a while. (How long, I haven't bothered to find out.)

Price:
Initial price is $15/ea. with a minimum of 25 of each style before they'll make that style. If we can get 50 of any style, the price will drop to $12/ea. for that style only.

Shipping:
US members:
$6 for Priority Mail (2-3 days)
OR
$8 for insured Priority Mail (2-3 days)

Canadian Members:
$10 for Registered, light packet via Canada Post (2-6 days)
OR
$15 for Xpresspost via Canada Post (2 days guaranteed)

Timeline:
Your name will be added to the appropriate list(s) in this post when you post your reply.
The order will be placed July 29. Depending on how close we are to 25 on that date, it may or may not stay open after. To be sure to get in, speak up before it closes.
Delivery should be in the second half of August. I will keep everyone posted.
If the unthinkable happens and we don't get enough to get a style made, everyone who ordered that style will get a full refund.

Tidbits:
Shipping is the same irrelevant of how many keychains you order to a maximum weight of 100g.
Please repeat which style/colour you're after, which shipping method you want and your mr2.com username in your paypal message. It will be the easiest way to keep track for me.
Refunds will go out to anyone that buys a style of keychain that drops in price when they are actually ordered
If we don't get the minimum of 25 ordered, I will personally top up the order for the the Mk1 and MK2 styles to make sure this is a go.
Depending on how fast the Mk3 version fills up, I might commit to topping that one up at a later date.

Mk1 keychain - Only comes in two-tone red like the AW11 hood emblem on the front and black on the back.


Mk2 keychain - Comes in red, black or blue on the front and black on the back, specify which you would like.

The company is located in NC so why ship everything out of the US only to pay higher shipping costs to send it back?

It's cool to have someone initiate the group buy but that just doesn't make sense. If it was a Canadian company then I see where it would benefit others but this just doesn't make sense. It would be easier and cheaper for one of us in the states to make the purchase. Even the initial shipping to him will be more expensive.

Logically wouldn't it be easier to have someone from NC have them shipped to them? Or even pick them up?

yea having someone in the states have it shipped from them makes more sense then sending it to canada to then ship it mostly back to the states

Honestly I like them but I really don't see spending over $30 for a key chain. If I was interested then sure why not. I'm sure there must be someone who is much closer than me. I just don't understand why pay all that unnecessary shipping.

Like I said before it's cool when someone steps up to help out others but being that he's outside of the US you'll be paying for costly shipping twice.

Anymore discussions about prices or shipping prices will be dealt with by utilizing our infraction system.

If you have a way to help the group buy poster then PM him.

This is a group buy and we will not tolerate people complaining about prices to include shipping arrangements as per our forum rules.

It is what it is, if you don't like the conditions then don't buy and especially, don't comment.

That's what I was thinking until I read this. If you're willing to split the order up to forward in the states, let me know. That was my original intention, but I don't know anyone in the US to ask. There have been a couple people offer, so something should be able to happen.
