East TN (Dragon) All-Toyota meet

I'm posting this up for my buddy who is wanting to organize an all-Toyota meet at the Dragon:

Here is the main attraction. One of the coolest roads in the country. Plus we will add the skyway into the route.

I will help organize a hotel for everyone and get it arranged so people can book their room and make their payments once we start finalizing dates etc..

I am sure not everyone will want to run roads the entire weekend so post up some ideas of what everyone would like to do and we can organize meeting places and I can make maps for the routes etc...

Post up your ideas. I am going to be working with some people from the supra, sc, alltrac, celica and mr2 communities to make this a huge meet.
We are thinking around april '07 for the time of the event.

Should I posted this in any other section than TN?
We will use this thread for ideas and make an official thread once everything is set.

Rather than trying to force people to book cetain things, I located a few optons for you if you need lodging accomidations. You will need to book as soon as possible due to the closer to the dragon and PF you are the faster they fill up. I had to call a lot of a rude places to filter out some half way decent places for you guys.

Everyone is leaning towards the Holiday Inn. These are the closest to me and they are all right off the interstate, there is some variety in price.

• Pigeon Forge Area. Its a bit further away (about 1 hour), but geared torwards tourists. Plenty of places to eat and things to do.

Comfort In. The rooms all have 2-beds so people might share and save more $. $89/ night. Indoor pool, breaksfast, microwave.

• Maryville. Plenty to eat and do, and only 15-20 minutes from the dragon. Not much of a night life though, but close enough to knoxville if you want to go out.

An extended stay type of room. In the $80 range.

If you stay as far away as Knoxville, you might be happier locating your own room.
