11AM??!?? i thought it was 8AM? at least that's what i thought it was reading about it on TR.com...

oh well, it seems unlikely that i'll be able to make it, considering i have to drive down to tampa again for the holidays a couple weeks after that fpr thanksgiving.

i've been such an outkast as far as the mr2 scene is concerned since i've started working more...funny hwo that is. I work more to build my car quicker, yet because i want to build it quicker, i can't make it to many of the mr2 meets where the people actually know what i'm trying to do.

Anyways, hope you guys have fun, there should be some nice setups heading out there, one of which i'm sad to miss is the turbo 5vz (?) from thwam if he makes it down. Would've loved to get a ride from someone with a decently built SB50/tdo6 to let me get a teaser to what i've planned for my build.

Heres whats up for the CONVOY

COCOA- I95 & 520 Meet at 9am at McDonalds
drive out to Orlando Via 528(beachline)
To Meet up with Orlando Peeps at RaceRock Cafe (off International Drive- which is right by I4) no Later than 10:15
Leave Race Rock around 10:30ish (waiting for straglers)
Take I4 strait on over to Tampa
to get to XAT around 11:30ish

See ya then!

My rider has not made it over here yet. I was coming down to pick up a car in Orlando and was going to swing by the meet first before picking up the car to drive it back to Atlanta. All would have been well if I could have gotten on the road earlier today as expected, but now it's getting too late for me to make it tonight and it's already been a very long week and I'm too tired to make the drive. I may still make it down some time tomorrow if I can find another driver to go with, but even if I do, it will be pretty late.

I'm sorry. I was really looking forward to making it down. If anyone would like to meet up in Orlando whenever I make it down, I'm game.

K, I lied again. I'm trying to make it down still. I'm in Valdosta, but I'm not sure if I will go to Orlando first and try to get the car and then head to Tampa, or if I will just head straight to Tampa. Either way, I'll catch up with you guys somewhere.

Ok Brian, I've made the switch haha. I hadden't logged on here in over a year.

Anyway back on topic. Meet was awsome, wich more people had come to the events later that night, we went out to the Saturday meet over by some bridge in Tampa. It was just Andrea and I and we pulled in a good sized group of people asking about the cars... if we had had 10 or so it would have been awsome. Thanks again to everyone who organized it.

Good to see a meet some new people
I had mine on the dyno last I new i had a boost leek but couldn't find it
It ended up being a 3 inch slice on the bottom side of my Long Intercooler Hose(from turbo to Intercooler) LOL so breaking up it only put 166to the wheels at 17psi blowing out the hose LOL
It didn't find the Gash till after i took the hose of after tryin to race an audiTT on the way home. Yeah No boost No Good.
