Barber's Motorsports park is a world renowned facility, and you can count on Chin Motorsports to attract a very impressive line-up of cars. Chin Motorsports does a spectacular job hosting events.

Attractions

Road Racing - May register as a driver or passenger
Scenic Drive
Barber's Vintage Motorsports Museum

Schedule

Saturday - Novice & expert track event
Saturday - Scenic drive
Saturday evening gathering - TBA
Sunday - Novice & expert track event

Fees

Admission to the park is free.
The museum is around $10.
Track event - Experienced registration is $330 (registration is limited)
Track event - Novice registration is $380 - includes classroom and in-car instruction the entire day (registration is limited)
Track event - Passenger registration is $20. May ride with experienced drivers only, and there should be plenty of experienced drivers to catch a ride with in some very nice cars.

We will make every effort to keep the fees as low as possible. The track fees are handled by Chin Motorsports and subject to their rules and restrictions.

My summer job doesn't allow me much time off, and what I have I already have committed to plans. There is an off-chance this falls on my days off. I work 4 on and 4 off, so that definately isn't enough time to drive across the continent (diagonally

). What's the chances I could find a place in Atlanta who would rent me a MKIII for the weekend ? I've never gotten to drive one, and think it'd be fun to take on the track. What are the rules of bringing a car to the track ? Does it have to be your car ?

Hmm I don't think insurance covers track runs... So I doubt anyone would rent you a car to be used on one.

We just finished up the Memorial weekend event at Roebling Road in Savannah. Needless to say, all of the attendees had a great time and got in tons of track time. I'm really looking forward to the even at Barber's. I will be attending the Sunday track session since there is less "traffic" on the track that day, but I will be at the even both days.
