Hello everyone! I wanted to post this in a general sort of way because I hope this is enough of an advance for some of you that live further out to join us. We will be hosting a meet at our shop, Phoenix Motorsports, in Asheville, North Carolina on Saturday, February 18th. Any who would like to join us earlier/later in addition to the meet are more than welcome to.
You may expect for there to be a couple non-MR2s, but the majority should be. The shop is heated, so no need to worry about having to stand outside in the cold.
The plan thus far is just to have a good time getting together with a good crowd for the first time since the July 4th annual meet at Mitch's this past summer. We had such a wonderful time we agreed to try it again midway through the year. Now that the time has come, I would like to give everyone plenty of time to request time off work or make financial arrangements for the trip. Anyone with a wild hair is welcome to stay for the after-party and meet a few cool people. Anyone planning to drink will be asked to spend the evening here; so if youre planning to party, bring a sleeping bag or plan on getting a room. I only have room for aoubt 6-7 since I dont have a very large home.

I hope that at least a few can make plans to stay until Sunday, but I know time and money are big factors. I will try to cut out the money issue by offering a place to rest your head.

I hope to have people start joining us around 12 noon on Saturday so that we can get everyone here and introduced by dinner time. For dinner there is a great Asian buffet a few blocks up from the shop. There is plenty of food on this strip, so if buffet is not your cup of tea, there is plenty else to choose from. Since it is just one long road, its not very likely anyone will get lost. Also if it is not too chilly, there is a decent import crowd that "hangs-out" on the same strip. That may be of interest to some and we can take that into account.

The 12:00 noon to dinner time (depending on what time you consider dinner) I hope to spend having a technical and Q&A period. If we are lucky, Bryan NoShoes may grace us with an appearance and assist me with answering some tech questions. He may also be able to set appointments with some of you for future assistance if it requires more than we can fit in fairly. I may be able to squeeze in some minor services.

I am always willing to take suggestions, but please keep them within reason. No, I cant get Hulk Hogan to bring his Supras, and no I cant rent the Hooters girls for the day... but if you have a suggestion that may help with attendance, please feel free to jot them down.

You may post here or PM me if you would like to be on the list of attendance. Please state yes, maybe or idk...

I dont know means I would if I could but probably not but just in case....
Just to make sure you know I am clear on what those mean

Your board name (or real name) and what you'll be driving would be useful things to include.

any fellow aqua mariners out there have a trunk and rear bumper that theyd like to part with.......i have cash... and equivalent red parts for trade if theres anyone who would like to make a deal at the meet.

I probably won't be able to get off work due to the contageous poor college student syndrom and need the money but I should get off by 5 and try to meet who's left and have a few drinks then maybe hit the Dragon! sunday! Damn that road is addicting, and I don't want to hear any excuses Jason your coming!
