Tennessee should be a really straight forward trip. If you know where you are in coordinance to I-40, youre set. You'll be taking I-40 all the way to us directly

. It may be a fairly boring/long trip if you happen to be in Western TN, but at least you'll have no worries of getting lost

. I dont believe you will be junctioning with any other caravans on your way, so you'll be on your own. This shouldnt be any problem, because the actual chances of you getting lost are 1:1,000,000.

I'm leaving Memphis Friday morning and will probably drive through, or nearly so. Flexible on return, could leave Sat evening and get a room somewhere between Knoxville and Cookeville, or just leave Sun morning and drive all day.

i am now considering making the trip if i get the alternator fixed. I would be be coming up from Birmingham to GA into Chattanooga/KNoxville. Anyone be passing thru there?

I'm in Knoxville. When are you going to be passing through? If I can get the wife to go, we'll probably go early (9am) to do some shopping and touristing. (Asheville is a f'in COOL town.)

If she doesn't want to go, then I'll probably sleep in and plan on leaving Knoxville around 11am.

I may go, weather depending (my MKI stays in storage otherwise until April).
I would be coming from Kingsport to Johnson City on I26 (it's about 45 minutes from J.C. to Asheville). If anyone is coming from the VA or NW NC direction, let me know and I may caravan with you.
