SIGNUPS WILLOW SPRINGS ( ROAD COURSE ) ( so - California )

*Date is Monday March 23 , 2009 , * start time is 8:00am - 5pm. this will be
on the “big track".

The fee for the track day will be ~$145 a car / 45 CAR CAP. ( cost will depend on number of sign ups)

Please DO NOT send money at this time. Just a reply if you wish to retain
spot(s) on the list. If you have a friend who wants to drive his/her car
please say so on your reply. All makes of cars welcome. We will be running
3 group system, ½ hour each run group. I'm trying for lower car count and more track time.

No Passengers allowed unless a licensed instructor is in the car.

All cars welcome , Rag tops must have roll bar ( factory roll bar ok )

This is a practice event , we will be doing "hotlaps" all day. No timing unless you bring your own.

Basic tech on your car like at an autocross.

Oh man I would love to go, but my car is leaking so I don't think I'll pass tech.

ya probly not a good idea to run a leaking car at the track, thoughts of fire

:\..... I recently put Lucas Stop leak and dont see a leak anywhere (past 2.5 weeks now). That good enough as a fix to run with this event? Just curious... I'd still not risk it tho. I'm just dying to try some track time. Last time I was there was on my sportbike.

well its your call, if we dont see a leak then you are ok, kind of up to you. the track will bring out the worste of any car, so if you have a small leak, it could turn into a big one after a few laps. just depends on what is leaking, my old MR2 leaked a little but i never had a problem, just add more oil between sessions.

Dam I just saw this, so what group is hosting this event?
Anyway if I saw this earler I would have signed up for this instead of the Streets of Willow back on 3/6/09. When will the next track day be?
