**** no.....I ordered the axle last tuesday, and I was expecting it today, but I just got an email today saying that it shipped today.

I'm so mad right now.

Anybody got a passsenger side non turbo CV axle they can loan me for a week or 2?

Edit: first thing in the morning I'm going to bring it to a place to see if I can have the joint rebuilt. Its seized right now because of a bad "put back together" job from a local buddy who said he could do it. He got it together, but there is absolutely no movement even if I hit with a hammer.

lol.....thought about that.

I just got a phone call from UPS saying its supposed to be delivered today! So I'm sitting here waiting at the house for it. Then I have a feeling I am going to pull an all nighter to see if I can get this done. I still have 80% of my suspension out of the car and I was supposed to be there all day today working on it at my dads shop but of course, I have to wait for UPS.

I am keeping my fingers crossed.

If anyone gets a wild hair in there ass and has nothing to do tonight or tomorrow and wants to lend a hand, I would appreciate it. I can offer a couch too out here on the coast and a beer or 3. But, the focus is to get my car back together so I can make this meet. I should be able to decided tonight if it can be done or not so we will see.

Edit: 5:30 and still no UPS.....guess I won't be able to pull it off.

call there hub that is close and see if you can pick it up. you have the tracking number? do you know how far the hub is from you? man I hope you can make it.

on that note... one more day... all packed up. Going shopping tonight for the food for the camp. see you all there. in 48hrs

Just got my axle. It's not going to happen guys....sorry

I am quite disappointed about the whole thing. There is no way I can get my suspension back together by tomorrow or saturday.

I will be able to attend the next meet though, my car should be back together by the end of next week.

I figured if I stayed up all day and all night, I might be able to pull it off but I am just not wanting to take that risk since I won't have time test out the car really and see if anything is wrong because of this. That, and I don't want to rush it and make a mistake.

Alas, I too have fallen by the wayside. My SC clutch was slipping. And I have a ticking sound that has developed into a knocking sound.

I was thinking the next meet might be scheduled a month later. The extra good weather would allow the backyard mechanics to catch up on break downs and maintenance that piled up over the rainy season.
