Statewide Texas MR2 Meet - May 23rd

Alright, us here in Houston met up last night at our usual spot to discuss the final arrangements for our Statewide meet on May 23rd. Here are the FINAL PLANS. There will be no changes from this point forward.

For those of you who live on the northside of Houston and those of you who are coming from out of town:

We will be meeting in the Panera Bread parking lot located off of Spring-Cypress and 249 @ 10 AM. Here is the address:

From Panera we will be leaving and heading for BATTLESHIP TEXAS! Battleship Texas Opens at 11 AM, so we will have plenty of time to get down there.

It costs 1$ to park at Battleship Texas, and $10 to take a tour of the ship. Right Next to Battleship Texas is the San Jacinto Monument. It costs $4 to go up to the top of the San Jacinto Monument but the view is beautiful from up top. We will be able to take tons and tons of great photos at this location. They may even let us drive our cars up next to the Battleship for photos.

Seriously, this place is amazing.

Depending on when everyone from out of town can get there is when we will head over to Buffalo Wild wings to eat and chill. I will be making reservations at Buffalo Wild wings THIS WEEK, so please let know by Wednesday May 13, 2009 if possible.

After we chill at Buffalo Wild Wings for a while I figure we will have though of somewhere else to go. I’m leaving the rest of the night up for discussion with the group. You know, we gotta be a little spontaneous.

SpydeRick will be organizing the spot for the southside people to meet up at and I will post it right here once we are able to get together and figure it out
