Pics of Guiness World Record event at Silverstone 2009 - Over 200 MR2's on track!!!

Feast your eyes on the pics guys..... scroll way down for track pics on each link. It was a massive day out and amazing to drive in the biggest ever collection of MR2's in procession on the planet!

MR2 Owners Club » Forums » General » World record attempt. » WRA pics and videos » How cool was that....?

MR2 Owners Club » Forums » General » World record attempt. » WRA pics and videos » High res pics of amazing World Record Attempt

MR2 Owners Club » Forums » General » World record attempt. » WRA pics and videos » A SPANK load of WRA pics.....

After the disappointment of the track organisers not verifying our attempt in 2007, we put over 220 MR2's on track again this year at the Silverstone GP circuit - just waiting on confirmation from the adjudicators now.....

Amazing, seems like it's getting larger and larger every year!

Was it the bias of the photographers or were MK1's underwhelmingly represented?

Only about 10% were Mk1's.

Due to our often wet weather - a high percentage of Mk1's in the UK have rusted away and been scrapped.
