MINI MEET IN WEST VIRGINIA

it seems the mini meet has gotten even smaller as time goes on however the meet will still go on. hopefully some of you will come that have not replied. the meet will start around NOON on Saturday the 19th and will start at the overlook of the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, WV zip 25840. from there we will go under the gorge from one end to the other. then off to Hawks nest state park for a quick visit, then to the mystery hole, then around some mountainous wv curves to the waterfalls at gauley bridge by the kanawha falls, across the steel bridge and back roads to deepwater and loop back around to fayetteville. we may make a stop at babcock state park along the way. by that time it should be time to hit wv's best kept secret..."Charlie's Pub. our starting point is very easy to get to no matter which direction you start from. anyone coming needs to reply to this thread or send me a pm and i will assist you on getting there. i hope to hear from some of you soon!!!

hey Grandpa hope others come as well. i have an '86 mr2 as well(that is up for sell)and have asked my Toyota Tech to join us. still need some more 2's but am certainly following through with the meet.

Ya, i invited the fella on the next street up ('88 sc), but i didn't think he'd be interested, and he wasn't. Then I met a kid on the street w/ a spyder and he said he knew of another local w/ a mkI, but I haven't heard from them. In case you haven't been following in OT, I got the new shocks n bushings on. Like the way she handles now.
The itinerary you have planned sounds interesting, and I do know where the overlook area is. I do know another old fart w/ a citreon sportscar...he might be interested.

i understand GP. no use coming up if noone else comes. in the beginning it looked like people were interested in coming but now hardly any of those people will even reply. but anyway, i appreciate your coorespondence and will close this thread. Happy Trails. Bo

Well it is official. due to the lack of interest(MORE LIKE NO INTEREST) the meet is not going to happen. do not think i will try to schedule another meet as no one seems to want to follow through and hadly anyone even responded as time grew near. Thread is officaly closed.
