MINI MEET IN WEST VIRGINIA

going to get a mini meet crankin' if all are willing... would like to have this meet start in Fayetteville, wv zip 25840. this is a big tourism town and home to the New River Gorge Bridge which is one of the worlds longest single arch bridges. Fayetteville is also famous for one of WV's best kept secrets...Charlie's Pub. it is filled with the very cheapest mixed drinks you will find on the planet and the only pub you will ever go to where you may say..."Hey Charlie, would you start adding a little more chaser to the booze???". hosptality there is second to none and the crowd consists of river rats, tourists and the all friendly locals that have been going there since Mobey **** was a minnow(actually only established since 1988-sorry for the overexaduration). there are a few state parks, waterfalls, natural beauty and tons of twisties for those of us who like the curvey side of things. i will supply maps or ANY information that you may need as well as an agenda. overnight stay(if wanted)should be cheaper than cheap. depending on how many wish to get together, I may be able to have you over and grill some grub, if the group is larger than what I assume it will be then we can eat for cheap at many places in the local area. Please feel free to contact me through this thread or pm me to let me know what you think or any ideas you may have. I am game for basically anytime in August OR September. Please give me some feedback on your thoughts if you are interested.

September 19th is a Saturday and that would be ideal to have the meet. Sunday September 20th would be fine too. if you all choose, you can come Saturday and stay over to leave on Sunday or Sunday and leave on Monday. if others want to come Friday, i will make myself available and make sure there are no dull moments. if everyone firms it up at least a week or two before the meet, i can take a head count and find some cheap lodging for them if they wish. i have a rental property that will be vacant on Sunday September 20th in the afternoon. if anyone wants to crash Sunday night i could probably put up around 10 people as long as they brought air matresses or sleeping bags. if you all want to wait until sunday to come and stay a couple days, that is o.k. too. there is a grocery store about 15 yards away from my lot so we may cook out as well. there is pleanty of parking on my rental lot. we need to try and get this kickin' so everyone give me your imput and i will get the plans together. i look foreward to being your host!!!

19th it is

Saturday the 19th seems to be the day. people need to let me know roughly when they will get up here that Saturday and if they wish to stay the night or if they will be traveling home that evening. and if they wish to stay, when they want to depart...Sunday, Monday, etc...

glad to have you for the meet. am looking foreward to seeing everyone and havin' some fun that weekend. when it gets closer to the time, just let me know if you are definately coming and if you want to stay an extra day. Bridge day is great to see ONCE. after that it is not as exciting but i would highly recommend going at least once. the parachuters and bungy jumpers have a lot of courage to do what they do off that bridge. they shut down one side of the bridge during this period and have all kinds of vendors and such on the bridge. if you do come, make sure you park somewhere in the town of Fayetteville or close to the bridge but definately NOT on route 19 by the bridge as it is not easy to get in and out. it is much easier to walk a little ways to your car and drive out another way. anyway, look foreward to seeing you at the meet!!!

gettin' closer

hey everyone, the meet is meerly a month away. i hope the turnout is great and the weather is great as well. would be nice if within the next couple of weeks if you all would let me know who is definately coming and what time you would like to meet. also, if someone wants to come a day early they just need to let me know.

I'm still planning on coming down. If something comes up- i'll be sure to let you know...
Hopefully we'll get the new shocks n bushings in place next week + alignment and some test driving before the trip.
