Meet someone who lives at an aprtment off campus with ample parking and doesn't need to have parking sickers, I'm sure there are some. I have both of my cars at my apartment and half the parking lot is still vacant. I'd be more then happy to let someone park there, as long as it moves once a month they don't say anything. My MR2 is under a cover most of the time.

Sounds like a great date to me.....
Can we get a link to the hotel that was suggested last time. I'd like to make it an overnighter for saturday night.
My 2 is all polished and ready to go! It may need a good wash to get all the bugs off once I get there though.

OK, found the link in the old thread. Now have a reservation at Best Western Biltmore West for 1 night Satruday April 22.

Anyone else staying overnight there? rate I got was $47.69 plus tax, and the reservation can be cancelled up to 4pm on the day of arrival (which is great!).

The closest apt to campus is where I was parking till I got kicked out, and they said they would tow it. I talked to someone that lives there and they have to have their name on the registration to get a stick for their car.

So how many are going to be able to make it this time? My sig other and I just spent several days polishing my 2 to bring it back from the winter blahs. It's really shiney now!! He drove it to work (Jones Chevy in Sumter) and a sales man was out looking at it with a customer. When asked if it was for sale, David said sure, the first $10K takes it home. That shut em up! Since I wouldn't part with it, cept maybe for a nice spyder.

Anyway, what's the count up to? Who's in?

ok i just found out i will have to work saturday. i might be able to get off early but i do not know just yet. how late will you guys be out? is this going to be a 2 day event?

I'm still trying to work out my bugs with the car. Tranny grinds in 2nd almost every time, and if I'm higher in the rev's it won't go in at all, I think my slave cylinder is going out, it's qhining alot if I have the car in neutral. And I am still misfiring.... but I'll try to be there, Heck, I might even bring the Volvo if I can't get the MR2 running right.
