Anybody around Dallas/ DFW area?

I just bought my car 2 days ago and I would like to go to some MR2 meets around the area and meet some people who have the same interests. If anybody knows of any, i would love to come.

Nah your quite lucky actually there quite a few in the Dallas area. Im in the fort worth area, so unfortunately I dont know much about the dallas meets. You should hit up dallasimports.net, Im not a member there but a few 2 owners are and they have meets all the time.

Oh and the National MR2 Meet will September 24th - 27th, in Denton, Texas at ATS.

Ill probably be there Friday and Sunday, though I really want to go to the track day sat. Dyno day and drag is on friday and sunday is another dyno and just all day meet.

wow denton is far. its about a 2hr drive from where i live which is in Garland. ill check out dallasimports.net though. thanks

WTF Its a hr max. It takes me 2hrs from crowley which is alot further. If your looking for people to meet up down the street from you your going to be disappointed. Make the trip its worth seeing all the MR2's you'll never see that many in one place again.

Besides next yearly meet will be somewhere much further.

i checked it from my address and it said around 1hr and 45 mins to 2 hrs. but anyways i doubt ill be able to convince my dad to let me drive that far just for a car meet, if anything ill probably just end up saying ill spend the night at a friends and go to the meet

. i just wanted to know someone local around my area not too far, just in case i need help with something with my MR2

BTW did you buy your MR2 off craigslist? Turbo or NA?

yeah im still 17. my MR2 is my first car and i plan to keep it my entire life. Its a 5S-FE NA. My dads mechanic was selling it for $2900

Okay cause there was a Turbo MR2 for sale that same color around that area that was crazy overpriced.

First car huh? Hmm not sure that was a wise choice. The MR2 isnt very beginner friendly.
