NOPI Nationals ATL

Hello, I am trying to consolidate various NOPI threads into this one so we can all coordinate for the big show.
Last year I saw around 30 or so MR2's inside the show yet hardly any of them were together - as the same can be said of easily twice that many outside.
Maybe we can use this thread to help set up any convoys to the show, a motel get together or possibly even a Buckhead cruise...or whatever. If nothing else, lets use this to see who is going, when, where staying, etc!

Thanks for posting this. I've been meaning to do it for a while. I'll put an event on the calendar so people can indicate on it if they are going. I'm up for a meet in town somewhere if people would like to do so. I have no plans to attend the event though.

I will be there with several MR2's as well as the Skyline RB25 powered 240sx I built and the 4G61 colt.

I think we should all meet up with Brian for lunch or dinner sat night. I hear there will be some good electronica nearby if anyone is interested friday night.

I plan to go, but exact details are not yet known. I don't have a room yet, and have not decided if I want to go both days, one day, etc. Also, I have not decided on whether I will show my car, or drive my daily MR2 and be a spectator...

Speaking from extensive experience, I'd suggest going as a spectator 1 day. Showing both days is quite tiring and it really isn't worth it IMO. I have no plans to attend or show, but if the MR2 turnout looks to be good, I may drop in for one day on the bike.

For anyone who is in town on Friday, I'll be having the usual party at my house on Friday. I'll be at NOPI later in the afternoon on Saturday, but I won't have a car there. I'll be taking the bike down since I hate dealing with the traffic. I'm up for a meet anytime that weekend. Sunday would be a pretty good day for it. Traffic is horrendous trying to get out of the speedway area unless you are familiar with the back roads. Anyway, I'm interested in meeting everyone. Hit me up!

Have a safe trip to ATL.

I now have reserved a room and I'm traveling with a friend. We are considering renting a cheap 4 door car that has an automatic just to save fuel etc...We will be leaving Asheville very early Saturday morning. Most likely around 6AM. Maybe I will see you guys there .

Yes, that's true. But we would be a total of four persons(should have made that more clear) with (2) two seaters cars. We would we spending twice the amount on fuel as we would be driving two cars.
