Congratulations to Ben Borawski - MR2Board's January 2008 Showcase MR2!
Naturally Aspirated 1991 MR2

Unfortunately, this month's Showcase MR2 winner can't be with us to share his pride and joy. For all of us, building the perfect MR2 is something we dream about work hard to achieve. Although Ben is gone, hopefully there is some comfort in knowing that he has reached that level of satisfaction with his most prized possession. There is something to be said for reaching your goals and Ben was lucky enough to complete one of his.

Ben's friends plan on building another car, to the exact specifications he dreamed of in his honour. Being the majority of the way there with his own car, this is what Ben's '2 had to offer. A list any MR2 owner would be proud of:

Exterior:
Aeroware front lip
Shaved moldings
Molded Tom's sideskirts and Phoenix Power rear add-ons
Kaminari spoiler
94 tail lights
17" Super Advans powdercoated black w/ red lip
-17x8 +35 215/40/17
-17x9 +35 255/40/17
Apexi GT Spec exhaust
JDM Foglights and switch
Turbo engine lid

Suspension:
Urethane bushings front and rear
D2 coilovers powdercoated gloss black
ST swaybars powdercoated red

TRD front and rear strut bars powdercoated gloss black

Engine:
Pro1 Header
Custom made down pipe to fit Apexi GT exhaust

Paint:

Full weatherstip restoration and new wiper cowl

Wow, nice! This car reminds me of Takdrifter's and Sean Driscoll's. So this one's in pretty good company if you ask me
