A/C Compressor

Can you tell me where I can get an a/c compressor for a good price? Also, I am interested in either buying new leather seats or recovering my cloth seats in leather. Anybody have any suggestions?

Hi

No idea on the air compressor. Your best bet is to find someone parting out their car here on the board, ebay, or checking at www.mr2trader.com.

As far as seats, i can get them, but i can't ship them, they are way too big and unfortunately, i am limited on the size and weight of items i can ship. If you are wanting new seats, you might try a dealership, check with lithia here on the board and ask them.

http://www.mr2board.com/forums/lithi...a-springfield/

Getting them recovered, it would probably be cheaper to get new ones than to have yours recovered, i priced it about 2 years ago, and they wanted something like $1200 for both seats in real leather. I'm sure you can buy them new from toyota for cheaper.

Hi - I need a BEAMS 3S-GE timing belt. Is it the same regardless of which vehicle it came out of? The seller told me the engine was from a Celica, but the wiring harness builder told me the harness led him to believe it was the engine from a Caldina. Appreciate any help. Thanks

I recommend taking a few pictures of your engine (closer than farther away) and posting your question in the Beams section (you should also sign up under the owners group). Post the pictures, give any information you can give, and then ask for a part number. I don't know if they are all the same.

I don't know if the timing belts are different and I would hate to get you one that is wrong (considering the amount of time it takes).

Hey phoenix how much does the MR2 specific water oulet run for the BEAMS? Part number 16303-88460. Funny just noticed something, can you tell me if your EPC tells me the same thing? Mine says that its the same for 01.11.1993-01.08.1999 years which if that is the case i can just get one of a Gen2 much easier.

Hmm, these don't come in that Dark Red Burgundy color the side moldings on the Crimson Red Turbo's were, do they? I'm trying to avoid re-painting them for the time being.
