Possible items to get?
Loving the store idea.. And hey, are you planning on coming back stateside ever again? Would be cool to hang out at another big MR2 meet.
Anyhow, here are a few things that come to mind that I would be interested in.. sorry if some seem a little idiotic: - OEM '98 adjustable spoiler - OEM turn signal side marker repeaters ('99+ Celica have a clear version that is physically the same as the MR2's, which only ever came in amber) - OEM cloth/suede seat skins (if they're even available and not horridly expensive) - OEM GT/GT-S/G-Limited badges - OEM 91-93 tail light center panel (the double bar one, not the USDM one) - OEM illuminated rear MR2 badge - TRD sway bars - TRD strut tower bars - Factory/Dealer brochures, if available - JDM owner's manuals (I'd buy one for my '93, just to go along with my original one.. I think it'd be fun to have!) - Mk.1 screaming chicken nose badges - Mk.1 "Twin Cam 16 G" tail light sticker - OEM universal Toyota fog lights for 80s Toyotas (MR2/Celica/Van/etc.) - 3rd Gen 3SGTE / 3SGE maintenance parts (?? I'm sure some people could use bits..) - Toyota bB badge sets (the Scion guys will eat those up!) I'm sure I'll think of more, but tha'ts all for now ![]() |

okay....here we go in order from top to bottom..... - too big to ship and ungodly expensive - thought about those, you can get the yellow ones from partznet for like 15 bucks, as far as the clear ones, i can check into it. got a part number? - No idea about those. I have never heard of toyota producing something like that. - Got em, and they are in stock ![]() - I have the numbers for the center panel, but i am still researching the lighted one, i need a part number. - possible in the future, but not yet - possible in the future, but not yet - man, i want those for myself I will see if mine have part numbers, and see if i can order them.- Yes, i can get those, I will research the part number when i go to a weekend mr2 meet in the mountains. - good call, i will try to find those. I am also gonna get the JDM mk3 ones eventually. - got a number? - foglights are ungodly expensive here new from toyota, no idea why. but a factory set of mk2 ones run around $600 - Someone will be stocking these probably within the next few months, nuff said ![]() - hmmm.....good idea, but i really want to stick with MR2 stuff. Thanks for the ideas. When i finally get back to the states, and pick up my car in L.A. to drive to oregon, i just might have to stop by and have a beer with you crazy guys again ![]() - Dave |

And as for the fogs.. they were probably a long shot. But it was a dealer option from the 80s (not mk.2 fog lights, which are ~$250/pair here in the US) that was designed to be installed on just about every car they made. I would definitely love to get ahold of a Japanese owner's manual though.. and any other factory-related MR2 schwag they have ^_^ How much for a G-Limited badge? |

Conor - I won't be able to make it
I still have about 18 months left in Japan. I was thinking about going to SEMA this year, but now it looks like I will be heading to Oregon to visit the ol family during christmas which would kill that trip ![]() Canadam - Why even ask, its not like you will ever have a running MR2 ![]() |

I am researching the trunk liner. I was told, that it was discontinued and no longer available, but I think they just got lazy and decided not to look for it anymore because another item i asked them to get, i can get directly from toyota.
I just need a part number ![]() I am heading to a weekend meet in 2 weeks, hopefully someone there will have one, and be able to give me the part number for it. |

Trunk liner would be very cool. Also wasn't there a frunk liner? Something that sat on the bottom section? And how much would floor mats cost to bring in?
