can you get this shift boot

Can you get this part, the oem 99 shift boot with or without the plate with the leather and red stitching if not the part number or someone besides RPMgarage (he said he'll post it when he gets another one) that may be able to get one at a fair price.

yeah, I can get them, they are pricey though.

You can also get them here....

Shift boot store - RedlineGoods leather shift boots

although they are not OEM, they are top quality. I will see if I can track down a part number for it and get a price for it.

Here's a little hint:

Shift boots aren't complicated.

Just remove your old, tattered shift boot, and you'll notice it's just 4 pieces of fabric sewn together. Buy a piece of leather, cut out the four pieces to size, and if you have sewing skills, sew them yourself... otherwise, you can just pay somebody who knows what they're doing to sew you a new shift boot. Bingo, glue it into place, and you're good to go.

The other advantage to doing it yourself/paying someone local to do it is that you can have stitching and material of any color or type you desire.

So I finally found it on RPM garage here is the part number attached but when I typed it in it just came up as the OEM boot for 91-95 but whatever the case I paid after shipping..............180.00 for the boot and plate so I don't know if thats a good price or not as I know there pricey and I didnt like the two's r us one or redlinegoods boots worked out.

That part number is correct its however ONLY FOR THE PLASTIC not the boot itsself. Toyota didnt have the boot in red stitching as spare part. Maybe only it was for the cars they made stock beams ? Ill ask a guy over here that has a factory Beams.
CORRECTION
FACTORY Beams did not have red stitching on the shifter boot.So I WOULD SAY UNFORTUNATELY YOU PAID too much for a fake. Toyota lists about $32 for the plastic bezel and boot
So to quote his famous saying
" RARE " well it is since Toyota didnt even do it

I had mine custom made from lightningautocustoms.

90-95MR2

They did a superb job at a reasonable price and i would certainly recommend taking a look.
