I will try to get you guys the information on those. I know the bodies are sold separately and you can't buy it as a kit. Its those professional RC cars simply with an mr2 body. I recall, the body actually came only in blue and you have to put it together. And i am pretty sure they were selling in Japan for $40 dollars and only in Japan.
Guess i might have to source these and do a group buy on them. |

Hey guys, I have one of these. It fits on any TT01 Tamiya chassis or a 1/10 scale RC chassis. A link to the MR2 body is here:
ABC Toyota MR2 MR 2 body fit Tamiya TT01 HPI - (eBay item 160151937118 end time Sep-07-07 01:02:40 PDT) They come with optional parts as well as decals for the tailights, etc. The body is clear polycarbonate and you paint it from the inside. Mine has an upgraded motor, battery, aluminum drive axle, etc. It will do 50 mph and is four wheel drive. I have yet to finish the body but should have it done this weekend and can post pics. The pain is cutting it out. |

found it
ABCƒzƒr[1/10ƒc[ƒŠƒ“ƒOƒJ[—pƒ{ƒfƒB@ƒgƒˆƒ^SW20MR2TYPEIII/RC Car Body Shell TOYOTA SW20MR2 TYPEIII Edit: wow, the above link.....$85 dollars shipped to the united states....geez. The MSRP is 3900 yen, which is about $36 dollars. But, it would probably cost $20 bucks to ship it to the states from Japan. |
