The subscription isa bit steep for a bi-monthly subscription. I mean seriously, over $10 per issue? how many pages are there going to be? I can understnad a little postage cost, but i've shipped items WAY larger then amagazing for under 15 internationally

The first issue is A4 size (US Letter) 64 colour pages, our initial workings out are based on 230gsm, this is all new to us, so its a learning curve, and yes we felt the postage costs to us were a little excessive to the U.S and Canada.

Our alternative is to find a distributor that might bulk buy and sell them in the US and Canada, as shipping a bulk order of say 50 or 100 mags works out a hell of a lot cheaper than sending individual mags.

We can assure you if we find a more cost effective way we will pass the savings on to the reader!

Another way we had considered and are still considering is to set up a subscription system that only offers an electronic version of the magazine, i.e. PDF file that is emailed to the subscriber, this would be at a considerably less cost, with no postage. Would appreciate any feedback!

I'm an attention whore.

Car was actually about to look really good. Paint was supposed to be 1 week from today. Was getting a coat of pearlescent blue.

I believe that is a GREAT idea! This may also help you build funding for a full sized mag, and even even out the Supply/Demand issue. The more we buy, the more we save!

Thanks for the ongoing feedback guys, we are still looking at how we can reduce our overseas subscriptions, although we would rather distribute a printed magazine than an electronic version, keep you all posted!
The magazine is available after the 25th of this month, and the cost of the 6 issues per year is working out at £39 GBP including postage.

MR2 Only is a niche magazine, issue one is 64 pages of nothing but MR2s, and Novembers issue two just got bigger!

The magazine is attracting feature cars from all over the world, U.S., Canada, Europe, and even Japan.

Issue one does have a few kitted UK cars, but also offers a great U.S. mark 1, 3.0 V6 with nitrous featured, and an update on Jeff Fazio and Hydes successes.

Issue two which is in the making at the moment has a stunning U.S. mark two turbo, some news and reports from Japan, we want the magazine to have interesting reading for all, whether purist or modder, and where ever you are in the world, part of the interest in the reading of MR2 Only magazine is to see the different styles, engineering and the communities in other parts of the world, giving inspiration, and at worst, knowing what to avoid!

Our standard 1 off U.S. Subscription is working out at £42GBP which is for the 6 issues per year (Bi-monthly) and includes postage and packaging (which is costly to us)

However if MR2 Board were to arrange a group buy for a minimum of 10 subscribers, or we were to offer a MR2 Board club discount, which has been suggested to us, we could possibly offer each subscriber a discounted subscription at £38GBP. (edited due to typo error, my fault!)

Once you have some idea of number and details etc, we can arrange a request for payment invoice via PayPal, which is the way we handle all overseas subscriptions.

We hear Jeff ramble on enough about his own successes on practically every forum in existence in which he thinks someone will listen. We could do without further coverage of Jeff Fazio/Hyde.

That said, I'd be interested in several subscriptions, so long as Hyde isn't one of your highlights that I'd get to look forward to in each issue.

+1

His achievments are definately admirable, but we all know about them already thanks to his humongous bragging mouth. I dont know anyone who throws JEFF FAZIO in huge letters on the side of their MR2 back before they're even sponsored... That seems a little vain.

This of course is completely ignoring the fact that hes a gigantic douchebag with a nice internet power-trip attitude.

In other words? Hes kind of a big deal. His MR2 smells of rich mahogany. He has many leatherbound ebrakes.

Oops! looks like we have opened up a can of worms! Sorry guys!

Back to the issue at hand! we are looking for interesting US MR2s to feature, Devon who's 3.0 V6 Mark one we featured is excellent, with some wicked photography too.

Whether mark one, two or three, interesting stories, send them over, we want to cover something from all the MR2 Communities, and as I said we are hoping to have some interesting MR2 articles from Japan in issue two.

We all ready have a big file of feature cars, and loads of owners who have contacted us that we are in the process of following up for forthcoming issues.

Our website www.mr2only.com is up and running again now, so if you have any MR2 photos for our 2007 calendar contenders, please email them over, we are going to start a voting system in a few weeks to short list 12 different car shots for the calendar

MR2 Only mag is available now, would be great to get a group buy going, that way we could offer a discount, each issue will get bigger and better with your help!
