I degreased my engine without any problems....
looks 1000000x better..yu should keep the enginr running while yu do it tho..

spray on the cleaner(simple green works the best)let it sit then use a hose to spray it off...

Happened to me too a while back. Pulled over b/c it felt like 1 or 2 cylinders were not firing. Sure enough water in the spark plug valleys. Called work to say I'd be late, and just folded up some paper towels into pointed shapes to stick in and soak up the water. It worked and I made it to work a few minutes late.

Now I'm really careful about washing the engine area of the car with my garden hose when I hand wash my MR2.

Yeah, simple green cuts through all the mucky grease better than those aerosol toxic stuff.

I am one of the unfortunate ones that cleaned my engine also. Cleaned it at a car wash and had to leave the car overnight, after pushing it out of the bay. I used the plastic hoses to SUCK-OUT the cleaner. Runs much better now thats it's clean

Me too. I was up visiting my dad and had to leave the next day. It ended up shorting out the spark plug wire to cylinder # 4 completely. I had to get new wires, it took a long time to find any in town. lol
