Power loss problem

Hello
I'm experiencing a power loss at 4000 rpm. I figure its somehow linked to the butterfly controller that opens the other 2 runners at 4k. I checked for vaccuum leaks, checked for loose electrical connections and its not throwing a code. Drives fine until i reach 4k, if i shift before 4k i wont notice the problem but... whats the fun in that? Anyone have any ideas?

when you say loss of power is it total loss leading to stalling or is it just not as much power as there should be? have you tried revving it at idel? if so can you notice any differance? it could be a number of things that i have seen including fuel, air and vac

its not total loss but it feels like someone dropped an anchor behind me, there is not as much power as there shoud be. I don't notice a difference when I rev the motor past 4000 at idel.

if you still have the stock cat and may have been running rich or misfire it could be clogged and robbing power

If you know how to locate the butterfly actuator thing and feel it move put your hand on it and rev past 5000rpm and if it doesn't move that is one problem found. Maybe it's hooked up backwards
