I'm surprised nobody has answered this question. Are they multihex or the normal type nut on the conrods?

well, they are the normal ones.... i broke down and subcribed to an online chiltons so i can't lose it....... bad news though i broke the number 3 main bearing cap while instaling it!!!!! How, I don't know i placed it on the correct way with the arrow facing the front of the block and was going through the torque process and wasn't close to torque spec and all of a sudden snap it broke in half........ "and so did I".... so can I buy a new one and get some more plastigage and see if i am within my limits or just rebuild it over the winter months or just get a jdm replacement????? If i didn't love this car so much i would of been burnt in to a pile by now but it is so addicting to drive.... I find myself just hopping in it and driving for hours and not realizing it...... or how fast i am going. oh btw I am not going to be doing any motor swaps i had an 87 with a turbo 5sfe and that got me in so much trouble that finally 4 years later i have my licence back.. plus so many people are doing mods that the stock ones will be rare soon....... and can't turn down the gas mileage
