What exaclty does it do or doesn't do? Does it crank at all? If you washed the engine you need to make sure that there is no water between the valve covers where the sparkplugs are and that the distributor is also dry. If it doesn't crank at all check the battery cables and the battery itself, it should read around 12V.

Wont start
An old trick, spray the distributor cap and maybe the dizzy itself with WD40. Read the can, "Displaces moisture". Supposedly WD40 stands for water displacement 40th attempt/mixture......
I would suggest U investigate the cold start injector/valve. My 87 was extremely difficult to start in cooler weather. The electrical connector was loose, but looked okay. I discovered that problem after car sat for about 2, maybe three years, LOL. Kerry |

How much pressure do you have at the fuel rail? A clogged fuel filter or fuel pump going out might not be giving the injectors the pressure they need to spray.

If that is the case then the only other thing I can think of is the cold start injector. Someone mentioned checking this earlier. If you're not sure what the cold start injector is it's here:

To check the cold start injector, use an ohm meter and test it. It should read 3-5 ohms for a n/a.
