Electrical Issue,various components affected

What's Up Everyone!
I have a problem with my 1987 mk1 4age that has been bugging me for quite some time now. It first started with my headlamps not working,& a loud buzzing noise coming from the lower left kick panel area.I finally traced it to bad circuitry at J/B 4 (or J/B 3!). I removed all grounds (earths) from said J/B,& made my own ground (earth).I now have headlights that turn on! I replaced the relay that was making all that loud buzzing noise for good measure.
Then my battery started draining! I found that the eng bay fan never turns off after removing key from ignition,& intermittently will not come on either (after driving & turning car off).I also noticed that the needle for the battery guage drops when using turn signals, dome light doesnt work when opening either door (manually does turn on),cluster & a/c lights flicker, then turn off.If I cycle the headlight switch, cluster lights come back on! I have already replaced the headlamp sw! I have tried finding a replacement J/B with no luck. Has anyone else run into this issue?? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm tired of having to disconnect the battery!

The wiring harness of your car is interconnected in many, quirky ways. By creating new ground points for the junction boxes under the dash, you may have created short circuits in the wiring harness.

My advice is to clean up the original grounding points, add a little lithium grease to prevent future corrosion. All the weird problems might go away instantly. Its worth a try.
