cutting out.....help

i have a new 4age with 3 races on it. ran great then just started cutting out and dying. starts but runs really ruff when applyin the gas. i changed the coil, that didnt help. also when i tried to use jump wire 4 codes, the light stayed on. no flashing.when i installed the motor i had to run a hot wire from battery to the fuel pump wire to get the car 2 run.then out of the blue it started working w/o the hot wire,so i took it off. i put the wire back on and it made no difference. need to get it fixed so i can race this weekend. any help would greatly be appreciated. thanks,3d

Getting fuel, good spark? Vacuum leaks? Bad ground(s)? Bad fuel pump?... Grab your BGB, start diagnosing, and narrow down the possibilities.
