motor rebuild
When i purchased my '85, i noticed it was running bad and burning a lot of oil. i dropped the motor and had it rebuilt. after 2 months, i finally got it back. my timing belt jumped a cog and destroyed the gear, causing a hole to blow out of the side of my #4 piston. the motor got bored out 30 over, the valves got ground, it got aftermarket pistons, crank, cams and a whole long list of other stuff. i cut the exhaust off just off of the manifold, split it, and put two 18" glass-packs on it. now for the not so fun part... i got the flywheel torqued down today. tomorrow, the clutch and flywheel go back on and the tranny gets put back on. i'm not quite sure where everything goes anymore as far as bolts and connections go due to how long it's been since i dropped the motor. anyone know any tips or tricks to help me out?
