Engine 4AGE question

Hey guys, I plan on buying auto 1986 MR2 with 192k miles for $1050.
It runs and it is in great condition but here is my question:

192k miles is a lot, so what I can i do to make the engine "newer"?
Like what parts can i replace on it?

(i'm not very engine savvy)

cam seals, front main seal, timing belt, valve cover seals, plugs, cap, rotor, plug wires, all fluids...
this would be a 'start', but if you're not "engine savvy" then you'd be best served finding a good technician and buying a BGB (aka Toyota factory service manual) would be an even better start.

I have another question:
I found a "engine rebuilt kit" on ebay for an MR2 MKI engine.
What exactly does that kit do?

88 is almost identical to 86 so it will work fine for you

dont buy an engine rebuild kit until you know what size your pistons are gonna be after you bore the block if its needed and whatnot..
if your looking to fix all that stuff its gonna get quite expensive and since you dont know much about the engine your gonna have to get someone to do it for you that knows how..
if you really like it get it do what toyota tech geek told you or just do a major tune up and start saving up for the other oarts that might start breaking along the way..

It runs and its in great condition... and you are not engine savvy... so if it ain't broke dont fix it (i.e. screw it up).
Get the basics done... change fluids & plugs.. get familiar with bleeding air from the cooling system... then just drive it. The factory stickers on the car will say something like this (I am paraphrasing)

"If you do nothing else then make sure you get the cooling system in this car functioning right because if you screw with the cooling system of this car, be prepared to cause engine damage and pay an assload of money to fix it."

Something like that...
