Explain...

Dry pavement + S54 = wtf

I know it looks like the left one is lighter than the right, but that's just my camera phone and the fact that I zoomed in using the stupid digital zoom BS feature.

I can explain this no prob: You did a burn out, left a little rubber down, took a pic using a camera phone, and posted it on the board for all of us to see. Am I right?

God dammit answer my question. lol

And it wasn't just to do a burnout. I thought my clutch might be slipping, so I did a 5K launch, and burned out a little.

The S54 is an open differential transmission.

There are clearly two strips there.

NEWB

Mr2's are notorious for leaving two marks even with an open diff. Its because weight is distributed so well on the rear tires that it allows both tires to get traction. Go do the same thing while turning and then you will see your peg leg tire mark.

He's got it. As long as there is a fairly even amount of traction on both tires that's what you'll see...obviously
