lol, you make a good point Knight Fall. But, my goal is to have an all-around great car, not just a pure race car.
Ferrari, Lambourgini, Lotus, etc. have niceties like stereos and power equipment. People probably wouldn't want them if they didn't. That's what I'm going for, an inexpensive version of an exotic sports car. Of course, if mine ever breaks i probably will take it off rather than fix it as you probably don't even really need it except maybe in tight parking lots. |

Hey mr2much! It worked great! I was going nuts trying to find a good MR2 mechanic in the area to fix this problem. I'm half way decent with mechanics, but every time I've ever tried to diagnose/fix an electo issue, I wind up paying a fortune to someone to resolve my screw ups.
My super MR2 mechanic (Dave Jordan, TAO Motors, Raleigh, NC) suggested it was probably the relay but, I wasn't sure how to locate or check it out. Still would like to find good MR2 mechanic in my new area (Bulverde, Texas - north of San Antonio). Anybody got recommendations for one? |

Turning it on and off may help like said, but is probably not a long term fix. It helps because the relay is being turned on and off, sometimes relays get stuck.
If doing that does give you a temp fix, then you know it's the relay and it should be replaced.
