I Need A Alternator

My alternator died out on me, can i get away with using a celica or camery alternator.

80 or 100 amp

I have one from a 91 celica with a 5s-fe can i just use that one?

You might be able to. The plugs might not be the same on the alt itself.

Why dont you just try swapping it and see.

The main problem would be mounting location. On the Celica its in front, on the MR2 its in back.

I think the actual body of the alt will fit, but I dont know about the harness plug. Give it a shot. See.
