91 5SFE Problems

I Bought a 91 MR2 with the 5sfe in it for now. I am trying to get the axles back in the trans, Threre is a little bar going throuh so the axles are not going all the way in??? Any Help Will Work......

theres a retainer clip, its hard, but it just pushes in.

You have to get pretty violent with the 5s axles pulling them and putting them back in. Make absolutely sure you've got the splines mated before you get rough though.

the little rod you are talking about is part of the differential, it wont interfere with the axles going in
