seeking more power

im new to the forum, i recently got my 91 na mr2 and i absolutely love the car. but its a little on the slow side, i was just wondering if anyone could help me out and tell me some easy/cheap power adders or sites where i could find some parts for my 5s-fe just to make a little more beefy until i can save enough money for the turbo swap. thanks guys

Hey I have that turbo in my pinto!

The best would just be the same as any other person would suggest...exhaust, intake, headers, and a suspension upgrade. I say just wait and get a swap.

anything really, just cheap power adders to screw around with till i get the turbo motor. all the sites i find has tons of mods for the 3s-gte but i cant find anything other than the headers someone posted for the NA engine. guess im really looking for the sites where i could get the parts. im still kinda a noob in the car world as far as engine work and stuff goes. i've loved MR2's since i was like 13 and 5 1/2 years later i got myself one. i know mostly all i could do is full exhaust, cams, fuel stuff and such. so like any specific suggestions to parts from sites would be nice because i cant find anything for my 5s-fe. thanks.

also what is the V6 people are putting in them? and how much does that cost/how hard is it. thats another option i wouldnt mind looking into.

if you want a turbo motor, buy a turbo motor. spending money to save money doesnt work.

Ta-Da! N/A Tuning Guide. Its for the 3SGE but basically the same concepts will work with the 5SFE.
